I am not sure they are ever "normal." Our daughter is the most normal she has been but is always quirky. It is great that you have such a good team in place and a good school. Many of us don't have great school districts--I wish we did!Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14386058494236428900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4872069763804945028.post-51374042743132413012009-12-28T11:14:15.849-05:002009-12-28T11:14:15.849-05:00He's still not back to stable like he was befo...He's still not back to stable like he was before, but we're out of crisis mode. He grew 1.5 inches from August to October, and we weren't able to keep up on dosage changes. I'm still not sure if we're going to be able to keep him out of long-term RTC, but we've got a great team.

Our public school's special ed department is amazing. Our therapist says he works with over 30 school districts in Kansas and Nebraska and this is the best he's ever seen. I home-schooled originally, and we were able to do part-time at home, and part-time at school. This is his 2nd year full-time at school, and he was doing great up until mid-October.

We're starting him back slow after the hospital stay - an hour a day starting out, then increasing it slowly, and allowing him to do all his work in the resource room instead of facing the classroom.

Schedules are always off this time of year, of course, but ours was made even worse by the blizzard here in Kansas City Christmas Eve. My husband own a lawn service and also does snow removal, so we had to change our traditions this year and open presents on Christmas Eve. He was gone over 24 hours, including all of Christmas day.

But today's Monday, and we're going to get back to "normal" today. Whatever that is. :)Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07351854402676350305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4872069763804945028.post-36640592238100122352009-12-28T10:44:21.245-05:002009-12-28T10:44:21.245-05:00Hi Susan M!
